Four Tasty Chicken Breast Recipes

We have been doing a lot of vegan and vegetarian recipes recently. We love sharing vegan and vegetarian recipes. But boneless chicken breast is America’s most commonly consumed form of protein. There is a very good chance you have boneless chicken breast in your fridge or freezer right now.

It’s inexpensive, it cooks fast and everyone likes it. But we all fall into ruts. We make the same chicken recipes again and again. They’re easy, and we know we like them. If you have blood sugar concerns, you might always pick them because you know how they impact your blood sugar. We get it! But trying new things and adding more options into your rotation is good. With that in mind, we’re sharing four great low-carb chicken breast recipes.

Herb-crusted Texas Roadhouse Chicken Copycat

We love a copycat recipe. No one on our team is an ardent fan of Texas Roadhouse. They aren’t very common around here. But we know that fans of the restaurant are loyal and adore it. When we can share a copycat recipe, we’re always excited. Enjoying the restaurant flavors we love without the carbs and price tag is great. Plus, we love that this recipe calls for simple ingredients. You probably already have most, if not all, of them in your pantry! While the picture shows it on a bed of rice, we suggest serving it with mashed cauliflower. That would be a delicious combo. A serving has 170 calories, four grams of carbs, one gram of fiber and nine grams of fat. Get the recipe.

Low-carb Baked Chicken

This recipe makes a delicious baked dish with a crispy coating to mimic fried chicken. We’re unsure why the creator didn’t call it a low-carb shake-and-bake. Maybe they are worried about a lawsuit, but the product is called Shake ‘n Bake. Maybe they see Shake ‘n Bake as old-fashioned and want to seem modern. Whatever the reason, that’s what it reminds us of. We love classics, so we don’t mind bringing up the staple dish! If you like the original but want to cut carbs, this new version is for you. You’ll be thrilled you made it when you are in the mood for that oven-fried chicken that we all know and love. A serving has 213 calories, five grams of carbs, one gram of fiber and two grams of fat. Get the recipe.

Low-carb Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole

We can’t have a whole recipe blog about chicken breast and not have a casserole. Casseroles are great because they either feed a lot of people or a couple of people for a long time. We’re fans of both crowds and leftovers! Before putting everything in the casserole, you have to cook the chicken, bacon and broccoli. Mix all the ingredients together, put them in a dish, top it with cheese and bake. As all the ingredients are cooked before going into the casserole dish, it only takes 15 minutes in the oven! You can cook the chicken and bacon a different night, steam the broccoli in the microwave, and have dinner on the table in under a half hour! That’s way faster than most casseroles! A serving has 363 calories, six grams of carbs, two grams of fiber and 22 grams of fat. Get the recipe.

Skillet Lemon Chicken with Spinach

This is a fast, easy dinner. You only need a chopping board and a skillet. We love that. It has tons of veggies and a tasty sauce. The sauce uses half a cup of dry white wine. You can substitute three ounces of white wine vinegar and an ounce of water instead. We recommend serving this with a side of cauliflower rice to soak up the wonderful sauce! A serving has 317 calories, 11 grams of carbs, four grams of fiber and 16 grams of fat. Get the recipe.

We hope you enjoy dinner tonight! Try out one of these!
