Five Favorite Meat and Pear Salads

In the summer, we usually like something lighter for a meal than we would in fall or winter. We also like combining our favorite things. While we enjoy salads in the summer, sometimes we want more protein in our diet. Dairy proteins and protein-rich plants are excellent and have a place in a healthy, varied diet, but we sometimes enjoy meat in our salad. We also love combining sweet foods with savory for an explosion of flavors that hits the spot. The texture of pear is crisp and firm and adds a different layer to a salad that we really enjoy. So, today, we’re looking at meaty, savory pear salads that can punch up mealtime! None of these recipes have more than 20 grams of carbs!
