Four Chocolate Vegan Low-carb Treats

You might think of only savory, extremely healthy options when you think of vegan foods. While we always aim to share “better for you” recipes, we like sharing delicious treats. There are plenty of tasty vegan options!

When we think of chocolate, the two words that come to mind are rich and creamy. You don’t need cream to have a creamy chocolate dessert. The creaminess of sweet chocolate treats can be achieved with non-animal-based ingredients. And, with a few substitutions, you can have sweets that won’t upset your blood sugar! Today, we’re sharing four great options!

Easy Keto Chocolate

If you love sweets, the supermarket candy aisle may sing your name in a siren song every time you walk by it. This recipe lets you make homemade chocolate bars without the carbs or dairy! It calls for candy molds. If you don’t have molds, we recommend pouring your chocolate into lined mini muffin tins instead. The nutritional information is based on 40 servings, so adjust it based on how many chocolates you make. A serving has 64 calories, two grams of carbs, one gram of fiber and seven grams of fat. Vegan Chocolate Fudge

If you are trying our veganism or have recently become vegan, giving up dairy may be the hardest part. This fudge could be a good stepping stone. It is so creamy and melts in your mouth! It uses both coconut oil and full-fat coconut milk, so it does contain quite a lot of fat. We always say that desserts should be treated as treats rather than just a part of your diet. But if you pay attention to portion size and know what you’re eating, you can enjoy this without worrying about your health goals! A serving has 95 calories, two grams of carbs, one gram of fiber and 10 grams of fat. Get the recipe.

No Bake Keto Chocolate Cake

If you want to make a cake for a crowd and don’t want eggs or dairy, we have a great option! We love this for a party. This recipe is called a cake and looks like one. But we would say it’s closer to a silk pie. It’s wonderful, and you’ll be pleased you made it either way! The recipe only calls for a half-hour chill time for the completed cake. We think it needs a full hour. As this recipe used avocado in the place of cream and eggs, it’s high in fat. While it’s healthy fat, you should know what you eat! A serving has 350 calories, 12 grams of carbs, 6.8 grams of fiber and 31.8 grams of fiber. Get the recipe.

Vegan Low-carb Almost Instant Mug Brownies

We love mug desserts! Any time we can get a sweet treat from the microwave, we’re happy campers! This recipe makes a brownie just for you in under five minutes! The recipe calls for flax egg. That is an egg replacement made with ground flax seed and water. You can use ground chia seeds and water instead. It’s handy in vegan baking! This is a third recipe that is quite high in fat, so pay attention to the nutritional information and make sure it works with your dietary goals! It is also higher in carbs than most recipes we would normally share. However, the amount of fiber means it won’t spike blood sugar. A serving has 388 calories, 25.7 grams of carbs, 10 grams of fiber and 31.1 grams of fat. Get the recipe.

We hope you love these recipes! Eating a vegan diet doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the sweeter side of life. You just have to try new recipes!
